Clinton Police have determined that a threatening post made on social media directed at Clinton High School students and staff is "not credible."

Police were notified about 9:30 p.m., Thursday, of  threatening posts made on Instagram. The threatening posts were directed at Clinton High School students and staff and were scheduled to occur today.

Within three hours of the threat, police investigators and school resource officers from the Clinton Police Department were able to identify the source of the Instagram post and determined the threat was "not credible."
