A good Friday to all. Let's hear it for the end of the work week. We're waking up to one of the coldest mornings so far in the season. It's 26 degrees in the Q-C under fair skies. That's mandatory jacket weather.

Things will warm up nicely today as sunny skies will send the temperature into the lower 50s by the afternoon. It will be breezy, though, with southwest winds gusting as high as 25 mph.

Tonight will be partly cloudy and breezy with a low around 40 degrees.

For your weekend, the National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies Saturday with a high near 52 degrees. It will be breezy with a northwest wind gusting up to 25 mph.

Saturday night will be mostly clear with a low around 28 degrees.

Sunday will be sunny with a high near 53 degrees and a low around 35 degrees.
