A good Wednesday morning to all. You’re waking up to 48 degrees and fair skies.
Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 75 degrees and a low around 53 degrees.
Things then turn cooler and wetter on Thursday. The National Weather Service is calling for a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Thursday’s high will only reach the mid- to upper-60s. Winds from the south could gust as high as 25 mph. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch are possible.
Thursday night the temperature will drop to around 36 degrees.
For Friday through Sunday, daily highs will only reach the lower- to mid-50s, with overnight lows dropping to the lower 30s
Think that’s bad? This headline was found on the National Weather Service’s website this morning: “Early Season Snowstorm Moves into the Northern Rockies”
And the forecast for that region: Up to 8 inches of snow is possible in the highest elevations by the time the storm moves into the Northern Plains.
No, thank you.
