A Davenport woman will be arraigned Nov. 17 on charges that she stole nearly $83,000 from her employer from October 2014 to April 2016.
Sherrie Sue Dilly, 44, was arrested Friday on charges of first-degree theft and ongoing criminal activity.
Online records show that Dilly was in the Scott County Jail for nearly four hours before posting $25,000 through a bail bonds company.
Davenport police on May 5 received a report about a theft at PR Masonry, 2654 W. Central Park Ave., according to an arrest affidavit filed in support of the criminal complaint.

Dilly was hired in August 2013 to keep financial books and do payroll, according to the affidavit. From October 2014 until she was fired in April 2016, Dilly altered her pay rate and hours worked, according to the affidavit.
A financial audit determined that she overpaid herself $82,680.80, according to the affidavits.
Ongoing criminal activity is a Class B felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison. First-degree theft is a Class C felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
