The Bettendorf Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying two suspects who stole a Muscular Dystrophy Association donation box from the Hardees Restaurant, 1930 State St.

Police say the theft occurred around 3:30 p.m., August 15. The pair entered restaurant with one person distracting the manager as the other walked out with the donation box.

Police describe the suspects as a black female in her late 20s, about 5-foot 8-inches tall and stocky, and a white female about 5-foot 6 inches tall wearing glasses with a scar on her left cheek.

Anyone with information concerning this case are asked to contact the Bettendorf Police Department at 563-344-4022.
