Crime Stoppers of the Quad-Cities Board of Directors said Wednesday that they will pay enhanced rewards for information that leads to felony arrests between Friday and Dec. 8.

The board will increase reward amounts by 50 percent — with a $1,000 maximum during this time period.

Crime Stoppers works with the public, media and law enforcement to solve crimes in both Rock Island County and Scott County. Citizens can report information on unsolved felony crimes and the location of people wanted on felony warrants and receive a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest.

Since its inception in 1982 Crime Stoppers has helped solve more than 3,500 cases and has paid out around $334,000 in cash rewards.

Anyone with information concerning unsolved felony crimes or the location of people wanted on felony warrants, is asked to call the Crime Stoppers tip line at 309-762-9500.
