In November 2017, the pictured suspect carried out a scheme to rip off a Davenport store of a Rolex watch. Police say he is probably from out of town, but possibly someone locally will know who he is. Note his distinctive tattoos.

On Jan. 17, the males pictured above stole $2,055 worth of electronics including Bluetooth speakers, a drone and a laptop computer.

One suspect is described as a male, black in his 20s with a short hair and a goatee, wearing a gray hoodie with a black jacket over it, tan pants and black shoes.

The second suspect is described as male, black, heavy set in his mid 20’s with shoulder length black dreads and clean shaven. He was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes.

They fled the area in a green mini van with no license plate.

Shoplifters hit Family Dollar in Rock Island

On Jan. 10 the two females in this picture were involved in a retail theft at Family Dollar store, 1817 38th St., Rock Island.

One of them walked out with unpaid merchandise. The store’s security alarm went off as she went out. They drove away in a gold Ford Taurus or Focus with no license plate on it.

On Jan. 17 a victim left her billfold in her cart and walked a distance away from it while shopping at a Moline store.

While she wasn’t looking, the male in the above photo took it from her cart. Though the wallet didn’t contain a lot of cash, it did contain a pair of contact lenses valued at $1,500.

A reminder to the public, don’t leave your valuables in a shopping cart. Keep them on your person at all times.

Melva Kelly

CrimeStoppers of the Quad-Cities has added Melva Joyce Kelly to its 'most wanted' list.

Kelly is wanted for failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance.

Kelly, 55, is described as a black female about 5-feet 4-inches tall and weighing about 230 pounds.

She is wanted by the Marion County Missouri Sheriff's Department in Palmyra, Mo.

It is believed she and her husband Wallace White are living in Rock Island. They could be driving a black 1995 Cadillac Deville with stolen plates. Both Melva and Wallace have extensive criminal histories.
