A Davenport man has been charged with allegedly sexually abusing two children under the age of 12.

Max V. Thorndike, 64, was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of second-degree sexual abuse. According to court records, Thorndike allegedly forced two children to place their hands on his genitals while at his Davenport home.

Thorndike was being held Wednesday in the Scott County Jail on $50,000 bond.

Second-degree sexual abuse is a Class B felony, punishable by a maximum of 25 years in prison.

Why is this sicko out on bond???? throw the person who bailed him out in jail! Plus he lives 2 houses away from a school!!!! death penalty is a must!!! for him and whoever bailed him out


Put him in prison with all the other sick perverts. They wouldn't know what to do since there would be no children there Then.....put them among the rest of the prison population.
