A 36-year-old Davenport man is accused of sexually abusing two children, one in 2002 and one in 2006, Davenport police said Tuesday.
Joshua Micheal Switzer, 3007 Indian Road, is charged with one count each of sexual abuse second degree, sexual abuse third degree, and two counts of felony lascivious acts with a child.
The alleged incidents involved girls ages 7 and 12 years old.
Davenport police said the investigation into Switzer began July 17. He was arrested Tuesday and was being held in the Scott County Jail on $25,000 bond.

Sex abuse second degree is a Class B felony under Iowa law that carries a prison sentence of up to 25 years. Sex abuse third degree and lascivious acts with a child each are Class C felonies that carry a prison sentence of up to 10 years.
