A 24-year-old East Moline man is facing meth trafficking charges after East Moline Police raided his home Wednesday.

Evan D. Peterson, of 1113 45th Ave., is charged with participation in methamphetamine manufacturing, possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials, and methamphetamine delivery.

East Moline Police Lt. Darren Gault said officers had been conducting an investigation on the

production of methamphetamine at the house that culminated with the serving a search warrant Wednesday.

Gault said officers found an active methamphetamine lab inside the home.

Agents with the Illinois State Police Methamphetamine Response Team and Quad-City Metropolitan Enforcement Group aided in the search of the home and dismantling of the lab.

Peterson was being held Wednesday night in the Rock Island County Jail without bond, pending a first appearance in Rock Island County Circuit Court in the morning.
