A 38-year-old man wanted by Rock Island police in connection with the robbery of a store earlier this month was arrested Tuesday night.

Rock Island police had been looking for George Lee Humphrey, of 835 1/2 22nd St. after an arrest warrant had been issued against him on a charge of robbery.

According to the criminal complaint, the robbery occurred Oct. 4 at the Gemini Food Mart, 3000 46th Ave., Rock Island. Humphrey allegedly grabbed money from the cash drawer. He fled the scene in a vehicle. No weapon was displayed.
