Illinois State Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash Saturday night in Moline that left at least one person injured.
Troopers said in a news release Tuesday that the crash happened about 11:25 p.m. at 6th Avenue and 26th Street.
Troopers say a red 2004 Chrysler Pacifica was driving the wrong way on the one-way street and struck an oncoming blue 2014 Chevrolet driven by Kevin J. Rohwer, 44, of Moline.
The unknown driver of the Chrysler Pacifica and two others fled on foot after the crash. One passenger from the vehicle, Derrick D. Davis, 29, of East Moline, was arrested after being tracked by a canine unit, according to troopers.
He was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and was later booked into the Rock Island County Jail on a charge of resisting arrest, according to troopers. He also was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Rohwer and a passenger in his vehicle refused medical treatment at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Illinois State Police at 309-752-4915, ext. 4928.
