Two Davenport men were sentenced in U.S. District Court, Davenport, for their roles in a crack cocaine conspiracy.

U.S. District Judge Stephanie Rose sentenced Joshua William Rankin, 23, to 15 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.

Also Thursday, Rose sentenced Devon Blu Raven Braet, 22, to eight years and seven months in prison, followed by four years of supervised release.

Both men pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute cocaine base. Rankin also pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

Rankin and Braet distributed cocaine base in the Davenport area from August 2010 to October 2011, court records state. The two men traveled to Chicago on multiple occasions to pick up cocaine base and brought it back to Davenport, records state.
