Davenport's Halloween parade steps off at 7 p.m. Thursday in the downtown area.

It starts at 3rd and Brady streets, heading west to Scott Street where it turns south. It then turns east on 2nd Street and finishes at Iowa Street. Viewing areas that are accessible under the American Disabilities Act have been set aside on the skybridge and at 3rd and Ripley streets.

Temporary no parking signs already are up in the downtown area. There is no parking along the Halloween Parade route from 4-10 p.m. on Thursday. Violators will be towed.

Davenport's trick-or-treating is from 5-8 p.m. today.
