Children learned how to dye eggs today the natural way at a program this morning in Davenport's Nahant Marsh.

There participants went back to basics to learn the century-old craft of dying eggs from Americorps naturalist Amy Loving who showed them that fruits, vegetables and spices can be used to color Easter eggs.

Americorps requested budget for 2013 is just over 1 bIllion dollars, and this is for natural egg dyeing at Nahant Marsh and other feel good projects? I don't the intentions of the workers, I do point out that this is more government waste, as it should be be a very low priority.
