The Quad-City friends who didn't realize they were aunt and niece until a Facebook post brought them together will get some national exposure today.

Paula O'Brien and Abbey Donohoe will be featured in today's episode of "Anderson Live," the syndicated talk show hosted by Anderson Cooper. In the Quad-Cities, it airs at 11 a.m. on KWQC.

The two had met four years ago at a party and became friends, but they didn't realize there was a connection between them until a mid-March Facebook post by O'Brien.

O'Brien lamented in her post that it was the 29th anniversary of the birth of a child fathered by her brother, who was immediately given up for adoption. Donohoe saw several similarities to facts about her birth parents, and the two realized they were relation in mid-March.

Today's episode was taped in New York City about a week after the revelation.
