Top of the morning to all in the Quad-Cities. Every day that passes means one less day of winter and brings us one day closer to spring. And today is certainly unwinterlike. It’s 36 degrees in the Quad-Cities with light rain.

The National Weather Service is calling for the rains to continue throughout the day with a chance of thunderstorms in the morning.

There will be areas of fog before 1 p.m. with the temperature holding steady at 37 degrees.

New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch are possible.

Tonight rain is likely before 7 p.m. with a low around 26 degrees.

It’s definitely an umbrella day so keep one handy.
