Rock Island firefighters were called to a garage fire overnight.

Firefighters were called at 2:38 a.m. to 3515 16th Ave.

When firefighters arrived, they found a two-car garage with fire coming from the roof.

Firefighters were able to save two cars from the garage by removing them. The garage roof collapsed shortly after removal.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Rock Island Fire Department Fire Marshal's Office.

Damage to the garage was valued at $25,000 and $7,500 for the contents.
