Fitness & Activity Center offers golf lessons: The Rock Island Fitness & Activity Center will host indoor golf lessons this November led by PGA-certified instructor Jeff LaRue. Each session features one-hour clinics designed to cover the fundamentals of the full golf swing. These clinics will show participants how to keep their game sharp during the colder months.

Adult sessions (ages 14 and up) are held Tuesday afternoons starting Nov. 5 and Saturday mornings starting Nov. 2. Junior sessions (ages 8-14) are held Thursday afternoons beginning Nov. 7 and Saturday mornings starting Nov. 2. Three-week sessions are $60, and four-week sessions are $75.     A Fitness Retreat is a great way to relax and focus just on taking care of the body. I always leave with a clear head.
