Top of the morning to all in the Quad-Cities. You’re waking up to 21 degrees — 8 degrees with the wind chill — with light snow flurries.

Here’s what the rest of the day looks like from the National Weather Service. There’s a 40 percent chance of snow before 10 a.m. with cloudy skies gradually becoming mostly sunny. The high for the day will be near 30 degrees. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch is expected.

Tonight will be mostly clear with a low around 9 degrees with wind chill values as low as zero. Winds will be from the northwest with gusts as high as 25 mph.
