The Frozen Landing ice rink will officially open for the season following a tree lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, at Middle Road and 23rd Street in Bettendorf.

The rink is free, and open to all ages and ability levels. Skates for children and adults are available for rent for $2. Hockey skates may be used, but hockey sticks and pucks are not allowed. Concessions also are available for purchase.

Frozen Landing will be open the following hours:

Noon to 9 p.m., Monday-Thursday

Noon to 10 p.m., Friday

10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday

Noon to 6 p.m., Sunday

Hours are weather dependent. The rink will be closed for rain, snow accumulation of 2 inches or more until the rink is cleared, temperatures above 50 degrees or below 5 degrees and wind chill of -15 degrees.
