The Muddy Boots Nature Club at the Nahant Marsh Education Center is open to children ages 8-12 who want to learn more about nature and the outdoors. Each session will include a hands-on activity and an outdoor adventure.

The first program, focusing on recycled basket weaving, will be 3:30-5 p.m. Wednesday at the Davenport center. The club will meet every other Wednesday, with hours changing in the summer months. For future dates and themes or to register, go to nahantmarsh.org or call 563-323-5196. The cost is $5 per session or $75 for the whole year (18 programs).

The club is sponsored in part by the Quad-City Audubon Society.
