U.S. Rep. Cheri Bustos, D-Ill., will host a budget workshop in Moline next week.

Bustos' office said the workshop, which is being conducted with the Concord Coalition, is aimed at getting feedback from people in her district about their federal budget priorities.

During the exercise, people will break into small groups to talk about how to best balance the budget, reduce the deficit and prioritize programs.

The event is free and open to the public and will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m next Tuesday at Western Illinois University's Quad-Cities campus in the River Front Building, Rock Island County Room (#103), 3300 River Drive, Moline.

To RSVP or for more information, call 309-786-3406 or go to bustos.house.gov/rsvp-for-budget-workshops.

The Moline event is one of two workshops. The other will be in Galesburg earlier in the day.

The Concord Coalition was founded by Pete Peterson, a man who has spent nearly a HALF of a Billion dollars of the money he made on Wall St. lobbying Washington D.C. to ELIMINATE Social Security and Medicare. Do you really feel secure knowing that Cheri "No Labels" Bustos has REFUSED to sign the Gray-Takano "No Cuts" letter pledging that she would not accept any cuts to Social Security and Medicare?
