U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley, D-Iowa, will thank supporters at a potluck event Monday, his campaign announced Friday.

Braley has represented the Iowa Quad-Cities since 2007, but the once-per-decade redistricting has put Scott and Clinton counties in the 2nd Congressional District, which is now represented by Rep. Dave Loebsack, D-Iowa. This area had been in the 1st District.

Braley, who won a fourth term to Congress last month, will host the 5 p.m. event at the Renwick Mansion, 901 Tremont Ave., Davenport. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to share. The event will also feature a cash bar.

Earlier Monday, Braley will visit Clinton Community College in Clinton at 2 p.m. to tour the campus and speak with students and faculty about higher education issues.
