Nahant Marsh will host two guided hikes next week. The first hike will take place during sunset at 4 p.m. Jan. 16. The second hike is scheduled for 9 a.m. Jan. 19.

As winter settles in, there is much to discover about the wildlife that stay active during this time of year. Participants will learn to look for signs of life and observe the diverse species of birds that spend the winter at Nahant Marsh. Dress for the weather and bring a camera if you wish. Cost is $5 and participants are encouraged to register ahead of time at 563-323-5196 or nahantmarsh@eicc.edu.
