There’s a James Bond theme to this year’s Martini Shake Off!, so expect a lot of “Shaken, not stirred” orders tonight at the Mississippi Hall in the Davenport RiverCenter.

Dozens of martini recipes will be prepared by 25 area bars and restaurants, and awards will be given in several different categories, including a People’s Choice Award.

Tickets for the 5:30-9 p.m. fundraiser are $50. They can be ordered at HAVlife.org and picked up at the door.

At 8 p.m., HAVlife will present grants to several organizations in the community. In the six years that HAVlife has been in existence, it has awarded more than $250,000 in grants.

HAVlife was established in 2007 in honor of Hunter Aaron Vondran, who passed away at the age of 13 years from injuries suffered in an accident. The organization serves to prevent the lost potential of youth by sponsoring participation scholarships in the areas of music, arts and athletic programs for at-risk youth in the schools and the community.
