A heat advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. tonight. Heat index values could be between 100 to 105 degrees.

This afternoon there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly after 4 p.m. Skies will be mostly sunny and hot with a high near 96 degrees. Heat index values could be as high as 103 degrees. West winds will be around 10 mph.

Tonight there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly before 1 a.m. Skies will be partly cloudy with a low around 70 degrees. Northwest winds will be 5-10 mph becoming north in the evening.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 86 degrees. North winds will be around 5 mph.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 65 degrees.
