The German American Heritage Center will host a historical perspective on the influence of German immigrants on Davenport in the late 1840s, presented by Joachim Reppmann. The program will begin with a social at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the center, 712 W. 2nd St. Davenport, with Reppmann’s presentation afterward.
