Preston Growth and Development will host its second annual Copper Creek Trail night hike tonight in Preston, Iowa.

Participants should meet at the open air shelter near Plastics Unlimited in Preston’s Industrial Park at 7:30 p.m. today. Organizers said the bright moon will illuminate the hike. Last year, about 50 people participated.

Hot chocolate will be served after the hike, and s’mores will be available for 50 cents.

The event is open to all ages. Rain date is Sunday. For more information, call Dana Olson at 563-212-0478.
