Ex-offenders, parolees and probationers can get services and information to help them re-enter society at the Summit of Hope today in Rock Falls.

The Illinois Department of Corrections is holding the event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Harvest Time Bible Church, 1802 Dixon Ave., Rock Falls. Speakers and dignitaries will be at 11 a.m., and activities will be available all day.

State agencies and community and religious organizations will be at the expo, which will offer information on basic needs for re-entry, from getting a driver’s license or state ID to how to apply for a job, find housing, improve health, obtain various types of counseling and continue to comply with terms of parole.
