The annual meeting of the Quad-Cities Alliance for Immigrants and Refugees will have its annual meeting at 2 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, Rock Island.

The meeting will cover official business, followed by ethnic dancing and culturally diverse food to celebrate the first anniversary of the organization. Glimpse of the Philippines and Togo Dance Troupe will provide dance entertainment. QCAIR was organized on Feb. 23, 2012, with 29 member organizations, including eight ethnic community-based organizations. Four additional organizations have signed on since then. The group works to build a community among Quad-City refugees, immigrants and citizens. For more information, call interim director Nana Ouro-Agoro at 309-716-7437.
