The Quad-Cities Legislative Forum series will be held Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to noon Jan. 20 and Feb. 10 at the Rogalski Center, St. Ambrose University, 518 W. Locust St., Davenport. The third scheduled forum will be 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 10, at Madison Elementary School auditorium, 116 E. Locust St., Davenport. Doors open at 10 a.m. The forums are free and open to the public.
All Iowa state representatives and senators have been invited to attend the forums. This series is a great opportunity for the public to speak directly with our elected officials and have their questions answered," said Toby W. Paone, UniServ Director for the Iowa State Education Association (ISEA).
The forums are sponsored by the American Association of University Women (AAUW), the Iowa State Education Association (ISEA), the Scott County Farm Bureau, the Working Iowa Neighbors Coalition of the Quad Cities Federation of Labor (AFL-CIO), the Business and Professional Women of Davenport, the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) – Davenport Chapter, Iowa Friends of Companion Animals, the Junior League of the Quad Cities and the Quad Cities Area Realtor Association (QCARA).
