Library holding treasure hunt for stuffed animals: The Scott County Library System will hold a “Teddy Bear Treasure Hunt” on the weekend of Friday, July 12, to Monday, July 15, at the Eldridge branch, 200 N. 6th Ave., Eldridge. The event is part of the library’s summer reading program, “Dig Into Reading.”

Children may drop off their stuffed animals at the library from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, July 12. Stuffed animals may be picked up at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 15, and children will have the opportunity to see a presentation of photographs from the stuffed animal’s adventure at the library.

The event is free and does not require registration. For more information, go to www.scottcountylibrary.org or call 563-285-4794.
