The Davenport Public Library will celebrates Teen Reading Challenge week, representing Davenport in the 2017 Quad-City area libraries’ teen reading challenge.

After Sunday, teens in grades 6 through 12 can pick up a reading log at any Davenport library location.

For more information, visit www.davenportlibrary.com or call the library at 563- 326-7832.

Teens will have three weeks to read as many minutes as they can before returning their logs by Saturday, Oct. 21. Teens will receive entries into gift card raffles, a finishing prize and a ticket for the teen and a friend to attend the after-hours teen reading challenge party Friday, Oct. 27 at the Fairmount branch, 3000 Fairmount St. Last year, Davenport teens read more than 49,000 minutes for the challenge.
