Live Uncommon will waive and cover entry fees for events scheduled Saturday in honor of the victims and families of the Boston Marathon explosions.

Live Uncommon said it invites all to "stand up and run, walk, bike or crossfit on Saturday in protest" of those responsible.

More than 500 people have signed up, and they hope for 1,000 by the end of the day.

Saturday’s waived fees events include the Run for Renewal 5K at 9 a.m. in Davenport and the Autism Awareness 5K, bike and crossfit at 10:45 a.m. at Pleasant Valley High School, Bettendorf.

For details, go to liveuncommon.org. Live Uncommon waived registration is open through midnight today.

Liveuncommon is basically a huge advertisement for Russell Construction, made to look like a charity. It was founded by the wife of Russell Construction's owner, has the Russell Construction logo everywhere at these races that are supposed to be charitable events, and Russell Construction is mentioned constantly at the races.

This woman has given charity a bad name. She should be ashamed, but I honestly don't think she would have any shame about anything she did. Here is where she tries to excuse the inexcusable:
