Sports: The Quad-City Times continues to unveil its postseason honors teams from the winter sports season with the announcement of the all-metro boys swimming team on Thursday, the boys and girls bowling teams on Saturday and the all-metro and all-area boys basketball teams on Sunday.
The University of Iowa football team begins gearing up for another season with the opening of spring practice on Wednesday.
Courts: Kristianna Y. Granada, 25, of East Moline, will appear at the Rock Island County Justice Center for a preliminary hearing at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. She is charged with two counts of reckless homicide after police say she hit pedestrian Robert Moldenhauer, 63, with her van on Dec. 12 in Moline. Moldenhauer died from his injuries.
