The Moline Public Library, 3210 41st St., Moline, has been awarded $2,500 to enhance its health collection. The library has purchased up-to-date books and DVDs addressing heart health concerns including diabetes, cholesterol, high blood pressure and heart attack. These materials are on display on the first floor in the library and available for checkout.

Funding for the grant project was awarded from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services to the Secretary of State/Illinois State Library under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act.
