A good Sunday to all. You're waking up to 62 degrees and overcast skies.

Rain and falling temps are the order of the day.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a chance of rain and thunderstorms before 9 a.m., then rain throughout the day.  

Temperatures will hold near 62 degrees until about 11 a.m., then fall to around 46 degrees for the remainder of the day.

The wind will pick up in the afternoon with a south wind becoming west and gusting up to 30 mph.

New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch are possible.

Tonight there's occasional rain and snow forecasted before 9 p.m., then a chance of snow between 9 p.m. and midnight. Little or no snow accumulation is expected.  The overnight low will be around 22 degrees.
