MUSCATINE, Iowa — A Muscatine man has been charged with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, each a class C felony.

According to court documents, Juan Gomez, 35, whose address was last reported as 6202 42nd St., delivered a total of 12.5 grams of cocaine on three separate occasions to a confidential source working for the Muscatine County Drug Task Force.

The deliveries took place on Dec. 6, 12 and 18, 2012.

A class C felony carries a prison term of up to 10 years and a fine from $1,000-$10,000.

Gomez remains in the Muscatine County Jail on $200,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7.
