A breakfast program on diving ducks — the first in a seven-session series on birds — will be 8-9 a.m. Friday at Davenport's Nahant Marsh, 4220 Wapello Ave.

The cost is $5, including a hot breakfast, coffee and juice. Please pre-register by going online to www.nahantmarsh.org or calling 563-323-5196.

Depending on weather, there also may be a short hike. Participants are encouraged to dress for the outdoors and bring a camera. The trail to the bird blind is American with Disabilities Act accessible.

Programs will be held the first Friday of every month through April. Other birds will include raptors and songbirds.
