ROCK ISLAND — Alyne Stark, 83, of Rock Island, formerly of Milan, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

Funeral services are 11 a.m., Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hope Creek Memory Care.

Alyne Jones was born July 16, 1930, in Hannibal, Mo., a daughter of Dallas and Nannie Epperson Jones. She married Jack D. Stark on July 16, 1950, in Rock Island.

Alyne worked as a bank teller and later in customer service at the First National Bank of Rock Island. She was at the downtown location for many years and at the time of her retirement in 1992, was at the 30th Street branch.

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Rock Island, where she was active in Sunday school and the mission program.

Survivors include her husband, Jack; children, David and Angela Stark, Rock Island, Kathy and Tim Alderson, Tampa, Fla., Terry and Kathey Stark, Momence, Ill., and Debra Fowler, Dixfield, Maine; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Dick Diamond, Rockford, Ill., Shirley Shoemaker, Menomonee, Wis., and Katherine Stark-Wolber and Marvin Wolber, Moline. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Jones; sister, Mary Jones; and grandson, Donald Fowler Jr.
