BETTENDORF — Connor R. Kincaid, 24, of Bettendorf, died Thursday, August 3, 2017, on Spearfish Canyon Road near Cheyenne Crossing in the Black Hills of South Dakota of injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. Services in celebration of his life will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 11, at Christ’s Family Church, 4601 Utica Ridge Road, Davenport. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport. Memorials may be made to Christ’s Family Church, Davenport, of which he was a member.
Connor was born in 1992 in Davenport to Donald and Debra Kincaid. He was a 2011 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School and worked as Rental Manager with K&K Hardware, Bettendorf. Connor was an avid rider and motorcycle builder. He spent hours on the internet researching and developing his skills. He self-taught himself anything he found interesting; nothing was too difficult. Other interests included snow skiing, guns, music, friends, fun and his dog, Vinny.
Survivors include his parents, Don and Debra of Bettendorf; maternal grandparents, Bill and Shirley Muilenburg, Willis and Karan Rozeboom; aunts and uncles, Tom and Dori Erps, David and Shirley Rozeboom and Lynn and Brad Streelman; eight cousins; and many friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Robert “Bob” and Dorothy Kincaid.
