DAVENPORT — Donna Lee Wenthe, 46, of Davenport, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport.
Donna was born March 11, 1971, in Davenport, the daughter of Dexter Lee and Marilyn Joyce (Lilienthal) DeWulf.
She graduated from Durant High School in 1989. She then graduated with a degree in medical transcription from Hamilton Tech in Davenport.
Donna married Timothy S. Wenthe on Sept. 14, 1996 in Tipton, Iowa.
She enjoyed playing Sheephead, reading magazines, family gatherings, visiting with friends and caring for her father. Donna had a passion for sending greeting cards to her friends and family. She showed dogs through 4-H and was a devoted pet parent to her dogs: Shasty, Pepper and Pepsi.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017, at the Bentley Funeral Home, Durant, Iowa. At 5 p.m., concluding the visitation will be a Sharing of Memories and Prayer.
Private interment will be at the Durant Cemetery.
Donna is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Tim of Davenport; her father, Dexter DeWulf of Davenport; her sisters, Sheryl (George Nehls) DeWulf, Karol (Don) Nickell and LuRae (Tom Heser) DeWulf; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
A memorial has been established in Donna's memory.
