DAVENPORT - Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Jack L. Cline, 81, a resident of Davenport, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 4105 N. Division Street, Davenport. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. The family will greet friends Saturday in the Gathering Space at the church from 9 until 10:30 a.m.
Jack died peacefully Wednesday, September 13, 2017, in the comfort of his home following an extended illness.
Jack Leroy Cline was born July 26, 1936, in Taylorville, Illinois, a son of Kenneth Leroy and Maxine L. (Wright) Cline. He was proud to have served our country in the U.S. Army.
He was united in marriage to Kay F. Corso on June 16, 1962 in Taylorville.
He retired from HVAC field where he served as salesman for many years, representing various manufacturers.
He was a member of the church and the Knights of Columbus 532. Jack was a lifelong Cardinals fan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Our Lady of Victory Foundation.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Kay; sons, Michael L. Cline and Jay Cline, and a daughter in law, Tracey Cline, all of Davenport; and beloved grandchildren, Zachary and Jesse Cline, and Jaelyn and Jackson Cline.
He was preceded in death by his parents. May they rest in peace.
