CLINTON — Jane L. Brown, 58, of Clinton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday Feb. 8, 2018, at Mercy North Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Sunday Feb. 11, at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday 2-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the service, cremation rites will be accorded. Jane was born on Aug. 18, 1959, in Thomsen, Ill., the daughter of Wilfred and Gwen (Dierks) Kroll. She married Eric Brown on Nov. 22, 2003, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Jane worked with human resources at Temp Associates in Clinton for more than 24 years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Clinton Chamber of Commerce, Gateway Human Resources and the Northeast Advisory Board. She loved entertaining family and friends. She would go out of her way in helping others. She adored her dogs. Jane enjoyed gardening, landscaping, home decorating and refurbishing antiques.
Jane is survived by her husband, Eric Brown of Clinton; three children, Heather Molyneux of Iowa City, Jeramie Bussie of Clinton, and Kristianna (Nelson) Cassiberry of Clinton; 10 grandchildren, River, Logan, Jordan, Cadan, Hope, Oliver, Kameron, Santiono, Cristian and Zyon; her mother and step-father, Gwen (Merle) Miller of Clinton; her brother, Michael (Amy) Kroll of Albany, Ill.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents; her Aunt Phyllis;, and a cousin, Larry.
