DAVENPORT — Kelsi Renee Youngerman, 15, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013. A funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Victory Church in Davenport. Cremation rites will follow. Visitation will be 5-7:30 p.m. Friday at the Runge Mortuary with a prayer service to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Kelsi was born March 13, 1998, in Peoria, daughter of Tom and Karen (Kelsch) Youngerman. She was a student at Assumption High School, where she participated in the KKD (Knights Kompany Dancers). Dancing was Kelsi’s passion, having started at the age of 3. She previously had participated in basketball and track and was a talented artist, especially in drawing and painting. She was kind-hearted, loved animals, always had a constant smile, and was a great joy to everyone’s lives. Kelsi was quick-witted, goofy at times, free-spirited and a very unique individual.

Those left to cherish her memory include loving parents, Tom and Karen; brother, Jordan; sister, Katelyn, all of Davenport; grandparents, George and Cherlene Kelsch, Bismarck, N.D., and George and Joan Youngerman, Cando, N.D.; great-grandmother, Dorothy Deplazes, Cando, N.D.; aunts and uncles, Jon (Sara) Kelsch, Trish (Stuart) Duke, Amy (Erik) Bachmeier, Krys (Keith) Scott, Glenn (Jennifer) Youngerman and Paula Youngerman; and cousins, Lexi, Leah, Bryson, Jessica, Angie, Becca, Kolby, Addison, Cami, Chase, Jessika, Mackenzie, Maggie, Jacob, Raquelle and Cade.
