DAVENPORT — There will be a celebration of life service at a later date for Linda R. Beck, 72, of Davenport. Inurnment will take place at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Linda passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Good Samaritan Society, Davenport.
Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
Linda Rae Wendler was born on April 6, 1945, in Davenport, the daughter of Rudolph and Roseline (Enderton) Wendler. She worked as a quality control inspector for 20 years at Continental Can Co. She married Clarence Pleau in 1963, Thomas Stoltman in 1980, and Wayne Beck in 2001. They all preceded her in death.
Linda was a member of AFL-CIO Local 4454, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She served as past-president of 1202 A.A.R.P. of Scott County. She was also a member of Eagles F.O.E. 235, Davenport.
Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie Paul of Racine, Wisconsin, son, Mark (Lisa) Pleau of Racine, Wisconsin; step-son, Bryan (Dawn) Stoltman of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Sylvia Stagg of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Debra Heim, who was a very special niece, caregiver and advocate for Linda during recent years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tracy Pleau; and brother, Rudolph Wendler Jr.
