DAVENPORT — MaDonna Lee Burroughs-Hill, 61, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, July 25, at her home from an extended illness.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, August 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main St., Davenport. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.
MaDonna was born July 9, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, to Kenneth and Zatha (Shaffer) Burroughs.
She graduated from Davenport West High School in 1974, and went on to work for John Deere. She later went on to own Yankee's All-American Pub in Davenport.
She married Carl Hill Jr. on March 22, 2008.
MaDonna enjoyed camping, swimming, and visiting with friends and family. She had a passion for music, traveling and her team the Chicago Cubs.
She was blessed with many loving friends, as her kindness, generousness and zest for life was contagious.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Hill Jr.; her son, Tim and Connie Burroughs; grandchildren, Zaitha, Amaya, Colton and Josephine, Davenport; sister, Sharon and Jim O'Connor, Donahue, Iowa; nephew, Dustin Burroughs, San Diego, California; niece, Ashley and Chad Rogers, Moline.
MaDonna was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Debra Geddling.
