DAVENPORT — Tami Ann Gravitt, 56, of Davenport, passed away Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at her home. Private services will be held. Private inurnment will be in Davenport Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Handicapped Development Center. Online condolences may be expressed at rungemortuary.com.
Tami was born Aug. 9, 1960, in Davenport, the loving daughter of John and Maryanna (Stanger) Gravitt. Tami was a longtime resident of the Handicapped Development Center, where she had been involved in the Personal Independence Service Program. Tami enjoyed music and animals, but above all else, she cherished the love and companionship she received from her friends and extended family at the Handicapped Development Center.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, John Gravitt, Davenport; niece, Lesli (Dan) Platt, Riverdale; and a nephew, Nathan (Mandy) Peisch, Hampton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sandra Kellenberger and Gaye Gravitt; and a brother, J. Randy Gravitt.
Her family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Handicapped Development Center for their wonderful care and support of Tami and her sister, Gaye, for so many years!
