The Davenport Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire Sunday that left 11 people homeless.

Crews were called to 1019 E. Locust St. before noon Sunday and put out a fire in a bedroom, Washburn said in a news release. No one was injured.

The American Red Cross of the Quad-Cities Area is assisting the home's occupants.
